Choosing & storing atta at home.
A few useful habits before and after you open a flour pack.
Before you order
Read the ingredients and allergens, then check the weight of each pack and the total quantity you are selecting. Choose a quantity your household can use within the printed best-before date.
When your parcel arrives
Check that the product and pack count match your order. Look at the packaging and printed date before opening. If anything is damaged or incorrect, keep the packaging and contact us with your order number and clear photos.
Keep moisture out
Store flour in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. After opening, use a clean, airtight container. Keep scoops dry and avoid placing the container beside heat or steam.
Keep product information
If you transfer the flour to a container, keep the label or a clear photo of the pack information. This helps you keep track of the best-before date and identify the pack if you need help.
Use the right blend for your recipe
Gluten-free dough handles differently from wheat-based dough. Start with a small portion when adapting a familiar recipe and adjust water gradually. Cook flour thoroughly before eating.
